AAMA (American Architectural Manufacturers Association) was established in the USA in 1936 and is one of the most prestigious associations operating in the industrial world of windows and doors and windows and doors components.
The main purpose of the association is to write and enforce, through certification programs, the performance requirements of both complete windows and doors and their accessories, through tests and audits at the manufacturers.
We have tested the arms for top-hung windows at INTERTEK laboratory in the USA and accredited by AAMA according to the standards:
– AAMA 904-01 Voluntary specification for multi-bar hinges in window applications
– AAMA 907-05 Voluntary specification for corrosion resistant coating on carbon steel components.
Based on the reports compiled, AAMA has certified the 3250* arms.
