Fapim of Altopascio, the company manufacturing window and door accessories, with 500 employees and a 2023 turnover of 57 million euros, which exports worldwide over 90% of its 100% made in Italy production, concluded the celebrations for the fifty years of activity.
To celebrate this important achievement, from 8 to 13 July, not only all the sales agents from France, Poland, Belgium, the United States, Spain, Greece, the UK , Russia, the Balkans and Argentina came to Altopascio but also the main customers from all over Italy and from twelve other countries.
A great achievement that began thanks to the vision and tenacity of the three founding members – Paolo Bellandi (who passed away in 2015), Lido Bendinelli and Sergio Pacini – and today carried forward by the second generation, together with Bendinelli and Pacini.
The program included a visit to the two factories in Via delle Cerbaie and Spianate in Altopascio, where 100% of the production takes place and from where the products leave for over 100 countries around the world.
At the center of the visits is the new automatic warehouse, active since last September, which represents one of the main company investments, which in the last five years have reached 35 million, more than 10% of the turnover.
A visit which, rather than celebrating the past, had the aim of tracing the lines for the future development of Fapim , in Italy and in the world.
The ideal conclusion of the celebrations was the dinner dedicated to the 500 employees and which was held in one of the most evocative structures in Lucca, the Real Collegio dressed, for an evening, in the company colors for an event dedicated to the Fapim family, united and cohesive for 50 years to best face the challenges of growth and social and environmental sustainability that have always distinguished the Tuscan company.
