The traditional charity summer festival for the Meyer paediatric hospital Foundation, which we are honoured to have been “friend company” of for five years, took place on July 20 in the park of our Factory at Spianate.
About 700 participants, including employees, their families and friends of the company, were served with litres of Spritz, chips and pretzels by the 50 volunteers for the aperitif. Hundreds of sausages, pork chops, bacon and würstel were grilled and served with 100 kg of side dishes and 50 kilos of bread; 750 litres of beer and 50 litres of red wine were poured and, to finish in sweetness, a few hundred of donuts and a big celebratory cake for everyone.
The Fapim Band’s live music and the DJ-set by Luca Bastianelli & Friends gladdened the participants, while an area for our younger guests was set up with animators ensuring various entertainment such as tricks, games and dances.
A great event, involving a big organizational effort, made possible by the spirit of solidarity and devotion to the company of the 50 volunteers, all Fapim’s employees who, together with the ownership, have embraced a charity project that lasts over time, for the most important paediatric care centre, which was awarded the proceeds from the evening.
