RAL GZ 607/3

The mechanisms Galiplus 2, Galiplus 3,GaliCube and MagiCube have been RAL certified respectively to 130 Kg, 90 Kg and 110 Kg. The RAL German institute is part of the national system for the provision of quality marks that is widespread in the German industry and issues its own mark on goods of any kind as a proof of conformity to high quality requirements. Under observation and approval of the RAL institute, the industry itself establishes the quality requirements for the marking through the Quality Associations which have specific expertise on that particular type of product, in addition to defining the criteria to be fulfilled in terms of production both as to manufacturer internal quality system and to a program of external supervision through inspections at the manufacturer and sample withdrawals on the market. To obtain the certification, the mechanisms are subjected to static and durability tests. Endurance tests are performed with both tilt and turn cycles (15.000 complete cycles) and with side-hung opening cycles (10.000 cycles). Overload tests are performed nearby the cremone handle with door open by 90°, hindrance and impediment to closing. The conformity of a tilt and turn device to the RAL GZ 607/3 standard, allows the interchangeability of the accessories on windows and doors according to what is specified in the EN 14351-1 standard for the CE marking of windows and doors.

We have certified the Galiplus 2, Galicube 110, Galicube 130 and Magicube tilt and turn systems, respectively to 130 Kg, 110 Kg, 130 Kg and 180 Kg at the ITB Polish Institute. The tests, carried out in accordance with the regulations in force, include static and durability tests, while maintaining the certification involves periodical audits in the company.

Our Galiplus 2, Galiplus 3 and Galiplus 4 tilt and turn systems have been certified in Russia, by the “Centre on certification of window and door engineering of Moscow”, respectively at a 130 Kg, 90 Kg and 110 Kg. The tests, carried out according to the legislation in force in the country, include static and durability tests as well as tests of resistance in salt spray chamber. Some tests are similar to those provided for the RAL marking and carried out according to RAL GZ 607/3 standard. Besides the tests carried out in its laboratories in Moscow, the institute carries out periodic audits at Fapim facilities to assess production plans and check the conformity to its requirements.

The Galiplus 2, Galicube 110 and Galicube 130 mechanisms, with their anti-theft system, have obtained two stars, corresponding to class 2 according to EN 1627 certified by the SKG National Institute. In fact, unlike other European countries, in the Netherlands the use of anti-theft windows and doors is mandatory by law for some years and the resistance to burglary of a window or door according to the Dutch NEN 5089 standard and the European EN 1627 standard is certified by SKG only. By virtue of its great experience in the field of anti-theft tests on windows doors and accessories, the Institute is an active member of the European Commission for the technical development of test standards and methods in this highly specialized branch. The Dutch Institute, as a result of severe tests carried out on complete windows and doors according to the above standards, releases the SKG mark specifying the class of the window or door.
